چکیده
Parkinson disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease, characterized by denervation of dopaminergic neurons in substantia nigra. Its cardinal symptoms are rigidity, tremor, and bradykinesia. The gold-standard treatment for PD administration levodopa, but no approved can stop progression PD. Thus, development new therapeutics based on pathogenesis needed. In this study, we review pathogenetic factors to achieve a better understanding novel experimental therapies recently obtained knowledge regarding its pathogenesis. This could allow us explore therapeutic targets treatments

New and emerging therapies for Parkinson disease.
Few neurological disorders have been more successful in introducing novel therapies than Parkinson disease (PD). However, despite enormous progress, many challenges remain. Although levodopa is still the most effective drug in the symptomatic treatment of PD, adverse effects, particularly motor fluctuations and dyskinesias, limit its usefulness. Furthermore, there is a growing concern about the...

A gradual loss of dopamine-producing nerve cells gives rise to a common neurodegenerative Parkinson's disease (PD). This disease causes a neurotransmitter imbalance in the brain and initiates a cascade of complications in the rest of the body that appears as distressing symptoms which include gait problems, tremor, gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and cognitive decline. To aid dopamine deficienc...
